Where to stay for the Valencia Marathon 2026: best areas

Valencia, Spain · Sun 6 Dec 2026 (2027: usually first Sun of Dec)

WhichMarathon guide · Updated 18 Oct 2026

Valencia is flat, warm-ish in December and very popular, so hotels near the start go early. The 2026 race is full, so this page is mainly for runners who already have a place, and for planning 2027.

Where the race starts and finishes

The race starts and finishes at the City of Arts and Sciences, with the finish on a blue walkway over the water.

Book a room you can cancel. Race-weekend hotels fill up and get pricier, often before entries or ballot results are confirmed. A free-cancellation room holds today's price. If your plans change, cancel it. Every hotel link on this page shows free-cancellation rooms only.

Race morning

Roads around the City of Arts and Sciences close early. If you're not walking, leave plenty of time. Most big races also ask you to collect your bib in person before race day, so arrive at least the day before.
