Barcelona, Spain · Sun 14 Mar 2027

WhichMarathon guide · Updated 18 Oct 2026

Barcelona is easy for this race: the start is on several Metro lines, and the airport train stops at Sants, a short walk away.

Where the race starts and finishes

The race starts and finishes on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, by Plaça d'Espanya at the foot of Montjuïc.

Book a room you can cancel. Race-weekend hotels fill up and get pricier, often before entries or ballot results are confirmed. A free-cancellation room holds today's price. If your plans change, cancel it. Every hotel link on this page shows free-cancellation rooms only.

Race morning

The Metro is the easiest way to the start. Taxis struggle with road closures on race morning. Most big races also ask you to collect your bib in person before race day, so arrive at least the day before.
